ニューオーリンズでの録音中、地元ミュージシャンのアラン・トゥーサンが「Rock Show」でピアノを演奏するなど、現地の音楽文化の影響も受けています[4]。
制作中、ドラマーのジェフ・ブリトンが脱退するというハプニングがありましたが、すぐにジョー・イングリッシュが加入し、録音を続行しました[4]。
ジョン・レノンが制作中のマッカートニーを訪ねる計画があったものの、実現しなかったというエピソードも残っています[4]。
