Led Zeppelin（レッド・ツェッペリン）の8枚目にして最後のスタジオアルバム『In Through the Out Door』（イン・スルー・ジ・アウト・ドア）は、1979年8月15日にリリースされました。このアルバムは、バンドにとって大きな転換点となった作品です。

ジャケットデザイン
アルバムのジャケットデザインは、デザイン集団、ヒプノシス（Hipgnosis）によって手がけられました[25]。6種類の異なるカバーデザインが用意され、それぞれがバーの中の6人の視点から撮影されたシーンを描いています[36]。
さらに、内側のスリーブには特殊なインクが使用されており、水で濡らすと白黒の絵が色付きに変化するという仕掛けが施されていました[9]。

- "All My Love"は、プラントが亡くなった息子カラクへの追悼の意を込めて書いた曲です[34]。
- "Fool in the Rain"は、1978年のワールドカップで聴いたサンバのリズムにインスピレーションを得て作られました[30]。
- アルバムのリリースにより、Led Zeppelinの過去のアルバムすべてがビルボードチャートに再登場するという前代未聞の出来事が起こりました[36]。
